Obituary of Judy Killoran
KILLORAN, Judy It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Judy on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014, after a prognosis defying battle with Amyloidosis. She is predeceased by her loving husband Karl Mantler, survived by her devoted children Tara (Scott) and Glen (Angel). Judy will also be very much missed by her loving grandchildren Adam and Audrey. Judy was a devoted mother and grandmother, who never ceased to enrich the lives of all those she encountered. Vivacious, sincere and honest, Judy departed this world after a life well lived. The family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Sunday February 9th, 2014 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The family would like to thank Dr. Matthews and his team at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at KGH for their compassionate and dedicated care to both patient and family. The family would also like to thank the PSW services of the CCAC for the life enriching care provided to Judy every day for the last few years. It was due in great part to their efforts, and the care of her dear friends, that Judy was able to live in her home, enjoying rich and joyous final years, despite her challenging diagnosis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (www.cheofoundation.com).
