Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday May 19th., 2005. The former Mary Katherine Stitt of Brockville aged 86 years. Beloved wife of David Forsyth. Dear mother of William Gardiner and his wife Wendy of Burlington, Ian Gardiner,Shelia Brown and her husband John all of Scotland. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by friends Gerry and Carline Belanger ,Mona Latham and their families. Predeceased by her parents Archibald and Mary (Bronx) Stitt, 5 brothers James, Ben, Will, Tom and Archie and 4 sisters Jenny, Meg, Bessie and Rouie. Friends may call at the Barclay Funerall Home,137 Pearl St. East Brockville, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday May 23rd. 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Thornhill Cemetery, Scotland at a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimers Society or the St. Lawrence Lodge Building fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
