Peacefully with his son by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Sunday June 28, 2009. Daniel (Dan) Crites of Brockville age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary (McQuaid) Crites. Dear father of Kevin Crites and his wife Barbara of Greenbush. Loving granpa of Quinn, Shane and Aidan Crites all of Greenbush. Brother of Hester Hunter of Brockville, Helen Butler of Mountain and George Crites of Pulaski, New York. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Emma (Champion) Crites, brothers Herbert, Joe and Ike Crites and sisters Ella Barclay and Carrie Easton. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church on Wednesday July 1, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memoriams to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
