Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday January 14th, 2005. Lawrence Fredrick Smith of Brockville aged 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Victoria Foster Smith. Dear Father of Doreen Hunt and dear friend Wayne Thornhill of Brockville and Marie Beckstead and dear friend Bruce Freer of Morrisburg. Grandfather of John hunt and dear friend Cheryl of Smith Falls, Sherry Benoit and her husband Rick of Brockville, James Beckstead and his wife Dian of Ingleside, David Beckstead and dear friend Christie of Newington and Jeffery Beckstead and his wife Dawn of Osnabruck Centre. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by 4 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Melvin, Stanley, Charles Smith, Minnie Brennan, Florence Warren and Mary Davis. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville, Monday 2-4 &7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday January 18th. 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Ingleside at a later date.
