Entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday February 1, 2005. Joseph Elmer Bertrend of Brockville age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Alice Doreen Cole Bertrend. Dear father of Bill Bertrend and his wife Monique of Brockville, Caroline Doucette of Kingston, Albert Bertrend and his wife Mary of Tin Cap, Crystal Letts and her husband Terry of Johnstown, Mary Limbeck, and Dale Bertrend and his wife Donna all of Brockville. Survived by 22 grandchildren , several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by a son in law Ken Young of Brockville, a brother in law Joe Kelso of Kemptville and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Terry, a daughter Bonnie Young and a sister Mary Kelso. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday February 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Manhard Cemetery in the Spring.
