Entered into rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville on Wednesday, March 9th. 2005. After a brief illness, with his dearest and loving family at his side. Melvin Victor Hodgins, of Brockville. The youngest child of Robert George Hodgins and Abigail (O'Hara) Hodgins. Predeceased by his brothers Reilly and Morley and his sisters Muriel and Roberta. Survived by his wife Georgina, his daughter Melinda and his son Peter. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Helen Louise Whittaker and Frances Laidlaw of Hamilton, Ontario and loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mr. Hodgins will be held on Wednesday, March 16th. 2005 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville. Interment will take place at The Old Village Cemetery, Shawville, Quebec at a later date. Donations to St. Peter's Anglican Church, the Salvation Army, the Lanark Animal Welfare Society or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledge by the family.
