Obituary of Leonard Henry Delaney

Delaney, Leonard Henry (Len), aged 88 years, passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. Beloved husband, for 51 years, of Ann. Loving father of James (Jen) of Prescott, Kathryn (Dave) of Auckland, New Zealand, and Patrick (Andrea) of Thornbury. Special Poppa of Spencer, Sam, Ben, Zoe, Ayla and Luca. Survived by his sisters Bessie Brabant and Freda Lederhose of Montreal. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Mary Delaney, and brothers Hudson, Robert, Morris, Earl, Jack and Walter, also by sisters Opal and Mary. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 7-9 p.m. The Celebration of Len’s Life will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 12 Pine Street Brockville on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. In memory of Len, donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
