Obituary of Darrell Ward
Entered into rest peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge on Monday January 7, 2019. Darrell Edward Ward of North Augusta age 79 years. Beloved husband of Edith (Mills) Ward. Dear father of Darlene Gillet, grandfather of Seth Gillet (Leticia), Zachary Gillet and great grandfather of Judah and Asa Gillet. Darrell is survived by his brothers Frank (Robin) and Jeff (Sharon) Ward and several nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his special niece Shelley Burns (Derrick) and great niece Brianna (Liam) and great nephew Devin (Karoline). Predeceased by his parents Harold and Grace (O’Donnell) Ward, sisters Leona Power, Roberta Finnie, Mera Rutledge, Alice Telesco; brothers John and Norton Ward and his sister-in-law Marjorie Johnston and her husband Thomas.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Friday 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Greenbank Cemetery in the spring.
