Obituary of Don Kerr

Passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Maple View Lodge, Athens at the age of 82 years. Don was happiest when spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed music, dancing, woodworking. DIY projects, travelling, hunting and volunteering. He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church community. Don is survived by his beloved Eileen (Whitmore-Scott). Loving father of Susanne Jeffery (Andrew), David Kerr (Laurie), David Scott (Bev), Douglas Scott (Marla), Chris Scott (Lauren). He will be missed by grandchildren Jason (Lindsay), Matthew (Nikki), Marie (Kyle), Chad (Jessica), Layne (Emma), Jade, Alicia, Jake, Grace, Gabrielle, Jessica, Mitchell, Neve and Alexa. Great Grandfather of Kaleb, Finn, Hannah and Maisie. Also survived by many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie Kerr, sister Mary Lou Cole, brother Jim Kerr, daughter in law Margaret Scott and grandson Doug Scott Jr. Special thanks to friend Joyce and Cecile as well as the staff at Maple View Lodge for their loving support and compassionate care over the past two years.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E, Brockville on Wednesday November 20th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a Celebration of Life being held at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Don donations to Maple View Lodge, St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, or The Brockville and Area Community Foundation (Douglas Scott Jr.)
