While I am sitting here trying to put in to a few words of what a wonderful woman my aunt was, I decided to look back at one of our last messages to each other. It was before a procedure she was having and I wanted her to know, that I appreciated her and that I have always felt a strong connection with her, even though for most of my life we lived so far apart. This brought back a memory of a conversation my sister and I had a couple days ago about our aunt. My sister, Tricia said to me, Angie had a way of connecting with people and making them feel special and people were drawn to her. When she said this it really resonated with me. I can only speak for myself but I felt that know matter how much time went by, we could pick up where we left off. She was someone I felt comfortable talking to about anything. What a gift she was to us all.
She was witty and funny and one of the most charismatic people I have ever met. Always the life of the party. I remember our last drive together back from Cape Breton, we were all shoved in dad’s SUV like a bunch of sardines and we talked and laughed the whole way back to Halifax.
What an honour to have had an aunt like you.
I read this somewhere today and it made me think of my aunt. Although she could be the life of the party, she always made you feel special when you walked in to the room.
There are two kinds of people in this life: Those who walk into a room and say, “well here I am!” And those who walk in and say, “There you are.” It is the “There you are” people who make others feel special.-Leil Lowndes
To my father, Gino and my aunt Patricia and aunt Viola. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your sister ❤️

We will all miss Aunt Angie more than words can say. I have many fond memories of times spent with her. I remember it was always an exciting time when Aunt Angie and Fred would make the long drive from Ontario to visit us for the summer in Nova Scotia! I will also always cherish the memories of my summer spent on Grenadier Island with Aunt Angie, Fred and all the dogs at the restaurant. I was 12 years old and eager to help out at their busy island restaurant. I remember one day I mowed the lawn for her and when I was almost finished I saw Angie standing and looking at the ground in disbelief in an area around a big tree. I turned off the mower and went to see what was going on. Aunt Angie quickly stated that I had completely mowed down her herb garden that she was growing for use in the restaurant! I think she sensed how bad I felt, because she didn't get upset at all. She just smiled and put her arm around me and said, "Don't worry about it dear, I'll just send Fred to go pick some up".
I will always remember Aunt Angie as a caring, loving aunt with a smile and a story to tell (usually about Fred doing something that she just couldn't believe!)
You will be missed,
Love, Jonathan, Rachel and Kids

Our beautiful sister may be gone HOME but her amazing Spirit lives on in all who knew and loved her.She was fortunate to have the love of family and friends. Our loss is your loss and we share the grief amongst us. Now, each one of us carries a bit of Angie and we can show that she is still here by loving, laughing and being kind. Please, try to find a way to do some random acts of kindness in her memory.

How does one find words of condolence for the immense loss of a sister, aunt, step-mom, cousin or friend like no other? Angelina was many things to many people and she excelled at so many things. Loving, caring, defending, loyalty, her compassion was endless and her loyalty everlasting. She had a sense of humour and mischievousness that would leave you in gales of helpless laughter. She was staunchly independent and a strong leader, fearless and quick to take on any and all injustices. Yet, she was kind and gentle as a lamb when caring for others. To Gino and Angie's entire family I send you my sincere, heartfelt condolences. She was my best friend and I loved her as a sister. She has left a huge void in my life. God Bless her and welcome her into heaven with Fred and Robert. She is home now.

I’m sitting here thinking of what to say about my wonderful sister in-law ... Angie ... she was someone that always made me laugh with some of her comments.. but what I truly respected about her was her love of family and her clients at work .. they were family to her ...Angie you will be missed but your spirit will always be with us and that gives us comfort.

Angelena and I worked many years together.
One of my fondest memories of Angelena was her and I sitting out on the back deck at work in the dead of summer, blistering heat. She told me all about her past; my particularly favourite story was about how she met Fred. She gleamed while telling me the story and it felt like I was there. Her flare and amazing recollection of the past kept me mesmerized, and before we knew it and hour had past.
Angelena and I shared a passion for shoes, she and I would often talk fashion and she always loved to show me her new outfits and shoes. Anytime she was over a pair or the fit wasn’t quite right; she would bring them to me to try.
It wasn’t often we went a day without talking or messaging over Facebook.
Angelena, you are greatly missed but I know your at peace with your love.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Angie's family. We were very fortunate to be included in some family events with Angie and her loving sisters and brother. She always had a smile for everyone and her laughter was contagious . May your grief be changed to tears of joy as you remember all the times you spent together growing up and in later years when you visited each other

Friends are family we choose for ourselves. I found a card that I gave to Angie for her birthday in 2011.
It is very fitting for this message to her and her beautiful family.
"We've shared so many happy moments together, and none of them would have been half as fun without you. Your friendship is so much a part of who I am and I wouldn't trade our memories for anything in the world."
I love you and thank you for being one of my greatest supports and cheer leaders.
Lots of love to all her family and friends. Xo

Angie I miss you already. The time we spent together was short but wonderful. It will stay in my heart forever. I needed you at that time in the hospital, yes we connected so much that the laughter gave way to tears at our parting. Not knowing that this was the last time we would hug, I hugged you again before I just to get a little more lovin from you . God I will miss you and will always remember you. The laughter that we both needed at that time filled my heart. I am so grateful to have met you, just wished it could have lasted a few more years. I guess you have to live everyday like it is your last, because you don't know when it is your time that God wants you. He needed your spirit up there. Angie you will have every one in stitches...We shall meet again

Angelena and I were first cousins and grew up together....It has only been in the past couple of years that we have connected again and it was always so inspiring to read her FB messages and chat with her on messenger. We were hoping to see each other the next time she was coming to Nova Scotia; but that was not to be. I am saddened by her death and want to send my deepest condolences and my love to Gino, Viola, and Patricia as well as the entire family. She truly had a beautiful soul and her Faith was inspiring. Until we meet again RIP.

Ferdi and I want to send our sincere condolences to Patricia, Viola and Gino. We are missing Angie every day. She brightened our lives with her stories and jokes and celebrated many special occasions with us.She offered love and support when we were facing serious illness. She has left a large empty space in our lives. I apologize for being so late with this but I somehow couldn't bring myself to write it. God bless you as you mourn.
