MADDOCK, Joseph Thomas Robert “Bob” Bob peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, on Thursday December 16th, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Joan (Wanless) Maddock. Loving father of Kevin (Kim) Maddock of Huntsville and Craig (Susan) Maddock of Ottawa. Cherished Grandpa of Aaron, Haley, Nicholas and Alexander. Dear son of the late Neil and Theresa (Vincent) Maddock and brother of Claudette, Patricia, Peter and David. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Smiths Falls, Bob had a successful career in banking while raising his family with Joan in Mississauga. In retirement they moved to Brockville, enjoying the many friendships they made with neighbours and within the community. Bob will be lovingly remembered for his boundless energy, quick wit, kind heart and unfailing generosity. Cremation will take place in advance of the Liturgy of the Christian Funeral to be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church St., Brockville, on Wednesday December 22nd, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. In memory of Bob, donations to the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
