Obituary of Arlie Evelyn Beckstead

Arlie Beckstead (Morris) peacefully entered into rest at Sherwood Park Manor Brockville on Wednesday June 22nd, 2022. Beloved wife of Harry Beckstead. Dear daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Taylor) Morris, sister-in-law of Donna and Glenn Becksted, and the late Ruth and James Styles. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arlie enjoyed 35 years of teaching and was a mentor to many students in the town of Prescott. Her creativity and ability to reach students were remarkable.

Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Monday June 27^th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  followed by the Celebration of Arlie’s Life which will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Halladay Burial Place in Elgin.  In memory of Arlie, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Messages of condolences may be made online at www.barclayfuneralhome.com.
